The National Museum of the Marine Corps, which opened in 2006, is a Museum of American history, seen through the eyes of the United States Marine Corps. This family-friendly attraction charts the accomplishments of the Marine Corps from 1775 to the present, using immersive techniques. We have on display hundreds of artifacts, including aircraft, tanks, weapons, and popular culture items. Children’s activity areas are open daily. Free admission and parking. Open every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day from 9am to 5pm. Just off I-95 at exit 150 in northern Virginia.
